Nice centered sound and the pedals speak nicely
As a piece of music it’s pleasant enough but candidly rather dull. My real issue is the cost which is extremely high for what it is. It’s not an original piece. It’s just a transcription of the solo part put on to bass trombone.
A must have for routine playing! Ilan really puts the FUN in fundamentals with the variety of exercises and quality backing tracks with various tempos to help you feel confident in all areas of your playing! Loving using this so much!
I’m a beginning player so I may not be able to give a deep analysis, but I really like some of the features of the mute. First, it's light. That helps me concentrate on working the valves instead of fighting to hold the horn up.
Second, you can set the position of the mute inside the bell by moving three rubber strips which are held by Velcro. This is a clever feature which lets you change the sound quality and volume. Smart! It’ll be a great addition to my bag of tricks.
