It plays very nicely, once I adjusted the corks to play in tune with the open horn. The resistance is low and even, no matter what register. It’s lightweight, which is not an insignificant factor with bass trombone. The handle makes it very easy to grab and insert into the bell. Having equipment that plays like your mute does makes things much easier on me, and I can concentrate on the music, instead of fighting against my gear. Thanks, Ilan!
