Andrea Bonaldo: Verona Bones Overture for Trombone Choir

Attractive and exciting overture for nine-part trombone choir, dedicated to Giuliano Rizzotto and the Quarantine Quartet.

The composition describes Verona, the city where the fourth edition of the summer Master Class organized by the Quarantine Quartet took place in 2023.

The music is made up of four parts:

–        The first part recalls the Arena (Heroic theme);

–        The second “Montecchi e Capuleti”

–        The third is a "feroce" that recalls the aerial bombings of '44 – '45;

–        The fourth and last is a mystery reminiscent of the “Modern Art Gallery".
