The first movement of this work is inspired by the loss of a loved one. As you travel through the stages of grief, I intend for you to stop and enjoy the memories of those beautiful yet fleeting memories that were once shared. Let the ending of this movement cast away the potential pain of these memories.
Movement two is about acceptance. Inspired by the wonderful pianist, Yoko Yamada, we find simple and sweet melodies that help us find the light in the darkness. Moments of struggle find its way into the music, but we persevere and finish with a grand statement of understanding and passion.
Movement 3 is about adventure and taking steps into unfamiliar territory. Our emotions no longer control us! Finish this work with unforgiving excitement. I hope you enjoy!
