Sergei Rachmaninoff's Vespers, also known as his All-Night Vigil, is a choral setting of Russian Orthodox ceremony. This movement, "Rejoice o Virgin", or "Virgin Mary" in some translations, consists of a beautifully contemplative harmonized melody, in a choral setting. Beautiful as both a quartet or in a trombone choir setting. Transcribed by Matthew Neff, amazing bass trombonist of the North Carolina Symphony.
